Modulated Tabla and electronically processed Violin melodically unite during the Live Electronic PA performance of The Tabla Guy and Mason Bach. They focus on creating and exploring music based in Electronic music genres such as Tech House, Drum 'n' Bass, Dubstep and more by bringing together their Classical training in Tabla and Violin, respectively, and integrating it with technology to create uniquely engineered rhythmic grooves and a sonically explosive soundscape.
MTV Award-Winning DJ/Producer/Rapper to Premiere his New Album and Clothing Line at Luv To Bhang Showcase
Toronto, ON - From creating the cross over bhangra hit Beware of the Boyz, featuring Grammy winning rapper Jay-Z, to collaborating with Spike Lee on the soundtrack of the Denzel Washington movie Inside Man, Panjabi MC’s latest collaboration has Canada written all over it.
South Asian inspired clothing company, Desi Wear, will be presenting Panjabi MC Live in Toronto on Sept. 25, as part of their highly successful bhangra showcase Luv To Bhang. This celebration of bhangra music, alongside live Punjabi and western percussion, takes place several times a year at the Revival Nightclub on College St. in downtown Toronto.
Panjabi MC will be performing at Luv To Bhang to premiere tracks from his highly anticipated 16th studio album entitled The Raj, and to announce his new clothing line created and distributed exclusively by Desi Wear, a leader in South Asian urban apparel.
Founded by Oakville entrepreneur, Manny Brar, Desi Wear’s parent company, Entripy Custom Clothing, was recently named one of the 100 fastest-growing companies in Canada by PROFIT Magazine. Luv To Bhang, a brainchild of Manny Brar and acclaimed Canadian DJ/producer Double AA, is touted as simply the best, pure bhangra party on the planet.
A night of bhangin” at the event features strictly bhangra music ; live performances from Canadian artists Gurpreet The Tabla Guy Chana, Paul The Drummer Nanuwa and MC J.D. ; as well as an array of local and international guest stars. Canadian comedian Jus Reign, an internet sensation with almost 3 million video views on YouTube.com, rounds out the Luv To Bhang team.

This year we are honored to have US Assistant Attorney General, Thomas E. Perez, head of the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice, deliver the keynote address.
We will honor Mr. Wade Henderson of the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights (LCCR) and Speaker of the House Dave Hunt of Oregon for their exceptional efforts in furthering civil rights. We will also recognize Mr. KP Singh for his decades of service and leadership in the Sikh American and Indianapolis community.
